April 5, 2016 Board Meeting Agenda Item #13 Title APPROVAL FOR BOOKER HIGH'S SENIOR THEATER STUDENTS, VIDEO WINNERS OF THE BROADWAY SHOW CONTEST TO GO TO NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK ON APRIL 23-25, 2016 Description The instructional portion is learning the Broadway choreography, convincingly, filming and editing the final video. This trip will give students a chance to see a Broadway Show, speak with cast members about their career/college/training path as well as other New York City cultural activities. Recommendation That the field trip for Booker High's senior theater students to be allowed to go to New York City, New York on April 23-25, 2016 to be approved as presented.
